Partially Enclosed Storage Facilities
Our Partial Enclosure Facilities offer the client a more protective storage solution than our standard Outdoor Rack Systems or Roof-Only Systems. Our 3 Sided and Gabled Facilities increase storage protection and offer similar advantages to our Full Enclosure Storage Facilities. They most commonly used when the property layout has certain restrictions.
3 Sided Storage Facilities
Our “3 Sided Facility” is a rack system enclosed with walls on three sides of the structure and with a roof installed on the top. These can also be designed for the addition of bypassing sliding doors to totally enclose (protect) the vessels housed in the rack system.

Gabled Storage Facilities
Our “Gabled Storage Facility” is a set of two rack systems aligned parallel to one another, so that boats are stored bow to bow. This structure contains walls on both sides of the rack system and has a roof installed above. Forklift access for boat loading/retrieval is on the open-faced sides. Best understood as two 3 Sided Facilities engineered back to back, these structures can also be designed for the addition of bypassing sliding doors to totally enclose (protect) the customers’ boats.

Fully Enclosed Storage Facilities
Our Fully Enclosed Facilities offer owners and boaters the most protective storage available. These types of facilities provide a minimal environmental impact and offer the best way to maintain your boater’s vessel value. Our Conventional, Doublewide, and Triplewide Storage Facilities are custom engineered “Rack-Supported Structures,” meaning that the Rack Systems inside are an integral part of the structural integrity of the building.
Conventional Storage Facilities
Our “Conventional Storage Facility” is a rack supported structure integrated with two sets of racks, separated by an aisle that runs through the middle. Forklift operators enter the facility and maneuver on this aisle to load and retrieve their customers’ boats.

Doublewide Storage Facilities
Our “Doublewide Storage Facility” is a rack supported structure much like our Conventional Facility. The Doublewide Facility is best understood as two Conventional structures designed back to back, under one roof. A Doublewide Facility houses four sets of racks, two aisles, and a minimum of one entry per aisle. This style of facility is by far the most versatile; as it can store as large a boat as your forklift can handle. Our “Triplewide Storage Facility” is a rack supported structure much like our Conventional and Doublewide Facility, it is comprised of three Conventional structures put together under one roof and is most commonly used on narrow and/or shallow properties.

Did you know? Using a rack supported facility is actually less expensive than installing storage racks inside a clear span building. When comparing the building cost, rack system cost, erection time, and foundation cost we have found that there is a cost savings using the rack supported system. Not only do you have the lower expense, you gain more “lease-able footage” in a rack supported storage facility, thus increasing your business’ income. Finally, there are also tax advantages to using a rack supported storage structure… We have not built a clear span structure in over 20 years. Would you like to know more?
